Women Committee leaders Meeting from 13th to 14th December 2024

The East African Trade Union Confederation (EATUC) organized a two-day meeting that brought together Women Committee leaders from its various affiliates across the region. The primary objective of the meeting was to review the progress made in implementing women’s programs within their respective organizations, assess challenges faced, and share best practices.

Additionally, the meeting served as a platform for collaborative discussions on strategic planning for upcoming initiatives in 2025, ensuring that women’s programs continue to be effective and impactful. Participants engaged in in-depth deliberations, exchanged valuable insights, and formulated actionable plans to enhance gender equality and women’s empowerment within the trade union movement.
