EALA Advocacy Meeting on the Draft EATUC Social Security Portability Bill 2015 18th – 19th May 2015, Safari Hotel, Arusha Tanzania
1.0 Introduction
EATUC with the support of Solidarity Center organized the two day Advocacy meeting with EALA members in Arusha Tanzania. The main purpose of the meeting was to finalize and submit the Social Security Portability Bill 2015 to the members of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA)
This meeting brought together members of EATUC Committee of Experts from the five affiliates, a representative from the East African Employers Organization (EAEO) Bro. Opio Douglas, Mrs. Margaret Osure formerly with the East and Central African Social Security Association (ECASSA) and now with the African Pension Funds Network, Mrs. Doreen Muthaura the Consultant, Solidarity Center and EATUC Secretariat.
