Regional Labour Migration Forum, 16th-17th October 2025, Entebbe-Uganda
EATUC organized a Regional Forum on Labour Migration from 16th to 17th October 2025 in Entebbe Uganda, brought together labour migration Coordinators from EATUC affiliates, ILO, and key stakeholders. The Forum served as a platform for dialogue on implementation of regional and national policies on labour migration, capacity-building, knowledge sharing, and strategizing on trade union action in labour migration governance in EAC.
Forum was officially opened by NOTU Secretary General Comrade Richard Bigirwa, among others, the Forum developed EATUC action plan on the implementation of EAC Labour Migration Policy (2026-2030), also, East African Trade Union Migration Network (EATUNET) was launched.
