MEETING OF THE MULTI-SECTORAL EXPERTS ON THE HARMONISATION OF THE ENTRY/ WORK/RESIDENCE PERMITS FEES, FORMS AND PROCEDURES WITHIN THE EAC COMMON MARKET PROTOCOL FRAMEWORK
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Meeting of the multi sectoral experts on the harmonization of the entry/ work/residence permits, fees, forms and procedures within the Common Market Protocol framework was held from 8th -lO’-‘ June, 2015 in Nairobi, Kenya. The meeting was held in accordance with the Directive of the 28’^^ Meeting of the EAC Council of Ministers thai directed the EAC Secretariat to convene a multi sectoral meeting of experts to address the issue of harmonization of work/ residence permits, fees, forms and procedures for East Africans as guided by the provisions of the EAC CMP.
